Rebecca Black wants to DUET with Justin Bieber

Rebecca Black is famous for no reason making a sh*tty video and now she wants to duet with the most famous person ever – Justin Bieber!

While on Good Morning America this morning, the 13-year-old confessed that she would love to sing with Biebs. “Justin, if you’re watching this right now, would you do a duet with me?” she asked. “That would be just unreal — it would make my life!”

Rebecca is even begging fans to retweet the message to Justin on Twitter. “Please RT and help me get this message to @JustinBieber? Love you all!” she tweeted with the video link.

If you don’t know who Rebecca is, you must not have the Internet. She’s that chick with a YouTube music video called “Friday,” which went viral this week. She’s been under attack ever since for her super auto-tuned/catchy song. It’s one of those things you can’t help but watch. Then, you make fun of it.

Rebecca Black is asking her Twitter followers to help her campaign for a duet with none other than Justin Bieber.

Yes, that's right Beliebers, Rebecca Black is honing in on your man and she wants y'all to retweet her request to get Justin's attention.

She said on GMA Friday morning:

"Justin, if you’re watching this right now, would you do a duet with me? That would be just unreal — it would make my life!"

Knowing Justin, he will eventually reply. Hopefully, he says no. Let’s not make this girl any more money than she already has. Please.

Police Investigate Death Threats Against Rebecca Black

Reuters reports that the Anaheim Police Department is investigating two threats against the 13-year-old, which were made in March after “Friday” became an internet sensation.

“In essence the threats were related to getting the music off the Internet or they were going to kill her,” said Anaheim Police spokesman Rick Martinez said.

“We can’t validate how serious they are, but we do take it seriously.”

According to Martinez, one of the threats was made by phone, the other by email. Both were made through Black’s production and management companies.

“We’re going to investigate and determine, number one, the source of the comments and then based on the investigation determine what intent was and where we go from here,” he said. “If we believe they were actually intended as threats we will work toward prosecution”

While the investigation takes place, he promised officers would be “keeping an extra eye out” for the middle schooler. Once the perpetrators are identified, they could face criminal charges, he added.

Now, I know “Friday” grates on the nerves, but death threats? Come on, people. She’s 13 for cripes sake!

And you have to give her credit – that insidious video has generated more than 200 million views, according to Visible Measures.

Incidentally, that’s more than her idol Justin Bieber’s “Pray” video AND Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way.”

Which you have to admit is impressive. Deeply, deeply disturbing…but impressive.
